Information about the scholarship selection process

Weโ€™ve designed an algorithm which selects members to be as fair as possible. We focus on engagement on the Zero Gravity platform, and to what extent you are from a socially mobile background.
โ€‹
For example, we look at the average household income in your local area, the likelihood of people in your area going to university and the average GCSE results in your school. Even better, the algorithm is totally gender and ethnicity blind to make sure there is no unintentional bias.

You can also increase your chances of being selected by boosting the following stats:

  • ๐Ÿ“ฒ 1-1 calls: Get those calls booked in with your match throughout the year. Hitting 10+ is a surefire way of becoming eligible but there are a few other things you can do in the meantime.

  • ๐ŸŒŸ Complete goals: Make sure to complete as many goals as you can either independently, with your match, or through weekly Masterclasses.

  • ๐Ÿง  Attend Masterclasses: We've got some great speakers lined up this year, including experts at the top of their game. You can access these through Zero Gravity Community or your profile.

  • ๐Ÿ—ฃ Interact with the community: Get posting, commenting and interacting with fellow Zero Gravity members within our community space. Go say hi if you haven't already!

We'll drop you a message towards the end of your school year with more info on how to apply. Hit us up via email if you have any questions in the meantime hello@zerogravity.co.uk.
